"Ever put on an album where you find yourself humming something from nearly every tune? That's what will happen with the tightly rocking band. Superb songs and production " -SPINS Magazine
"If there's a formula for new rock, Laguna Beach rockers Vine may have it. The trio's debut album, "3 Days In The Desert", mixes Lenny Kravitz retro rock funk, turntablism of Sugar Ray and a whole world of eclectic music into the 14 songs of 3 Days." -Andrew Asch, AOL Digital Cities Music Editor "This Southern California combo writes damn catchy modern rockers that benefit from restrained guitar work and solid song structures. Pop is about getting your head bobbing, and Vine do an admirable job." -Doug Russell, Listen.com "[Vine is an] alternative pop group with a funky feel whose songs would make even the stiffest people tap their feet. This band seems ready in all departments to assault and take over adult alternative radio. A great CD as good as anything on the Billboard charts right now!" -Music Biz Magazine

Vine of Souls (aka Vine) is an indie rock band originally formed in San Francisco/Berkeley in 1990. Vine central is now Laguna Beach, California. Vine's members are: Patrick Thompson -
vocals, guitars, bass, drums
Using a potent blend of live instrumentation and sampled beats, Vine is an altogether intriguing mix of retro rock and future groove. "This record, at its core, is sort of idealistic and maybe even romantic," Thompson says. "In a climate that has a lot of cynicism, this record is not so cynical." As a result, 3 Days In The Desert is a mandatory vacation. ********************* It's called 3 Days In The Desert, but SoCal indie rock trio Vine's BT23.com label debut is anything but a harsh, arid soundscape. The band conjure up feelings as vast and unnamable as the universe of stars that stretch across Death Valley, lyrical imagery as colorful as the Painted Desert, and highly detailed textures as vivid, varied and interpretive as nature itself. "It's always nice when something cool from a new band lands on your desk. The first single from Three Days in the Desert captures a nice acoustic vibe... Spend some time with it." -Mark LaSpina, FMQB Magazine
